Wendy Sue Morris

Greetings and thank you for looking at my work!

My name is Wendy Sue Morris and I have been a working Abstract Expressionist painter for over twenty years. After receiving my Bachelor's of Fine Art degree at San Diego State University, I relocated to Los Angeles where I participated in many group and solo shows, received a highly-competitive Kittredge Grant, had several of my paintings included in the set-design, emmy award-winning television shows, "Hell's Kitchen" and "Master Chef", and also had my mixed-media archival prints accepted into the prestigious Cedars Sinai art collection. Currently, I now reside in Phoenix, Arizona. Please feel free to check out my artist's website as well as my artist statement below which explains a bit more about my work.

ARTIST STATEMENT
I am in pursuit of a visual solution which will best express the intangible realities lurking behind the human form. My desire as a painter is to capture what it is about us as human beings which makes us complicated and unique"”namely our fragility.
