My work explores painting as a ritual act, where material, gesture, and intuition converge in a slow invocation. I treat each canvas as a site of offering - a surface layered with pigment, wine, gold, and symbolic matter. Rather than depict meaning, I allow meaning to emerge through process.
Drawing inspiration from archaic and sacred art traditions, I share a kinship with the spiritual purpose behind primitive markings, sacred objects, and shamanic trance. Abstraction is not escape - it is return: to the point before language, before aesthetic judgment, before control.
My process often involves self-imposed randomness: working in twilight, selecting colors with dice, or drawing with closed eyes. This deliberate surrender allows the painting to co-create itself, surfacing images and structures that feel both spontaneous and inevitable.
Each work becomes a layered relic - more icon than image. I do not seek to express myself, but to listen through the act of painting.
I sign my works with the alias Xgeronimo.
Degree in philosophy; self-taught in the arts through years of intuitive practice, material study, and experimental process.
