Margaret Mcatamney

Maggie McAtamney is an Artist and Designer of Contemporary Paintings, Prints, Digital Art and Textiles. Originally from N.Ireland and a background in Fashion, Maggie has over twenty years experience of working as an Artist and Art Educator in Belfast, London and New Zealand. Maggie's work is a mixture of exquisite and intensely coloured abstract shapes, patterns and stunning compositions. Each piece is truly unique. Maggie finds inspiration in traditional Japanese aesthetics, Retro Abstract Expressionism, Cubism and the juxtaposition of interesting shapes. 'I work mainly in paper collage, acrylic's and digital manipulation layering textures and colour into beautiful imagery'.
