Deepali grew up in New Delhi, India. After working in the corporate sector for over two decades, she now creates from her home studio in Hyderabad. Her inspiration comes from nature's boundless beauty, with its vibrant spectrum of hues. Deepali says: Painting is like meditation, a prayer; it brings me immense joy. Each painting has its own silent language and has a different story for every eye that sees it. I want the vibrancy and urgency of the forms and colours on the canvas to communicate with the viewers, and I love to hear what they say. Listening to the viewer's interpretation is always intriguing. At times, their words leave me awed because what they say precisely propelled the brushes and fingers on the canvas; at other times, I don't see what they see on the canvas. However, that sometimes becomes the theme of my next artwork.
Deepali attended ‘Triveni Kala Sangam, Mandi House’, a prestigious arts school in New Delhi, and learned the nuances of oil painting under the guidance of renowned artists Ms Shobha Broota and Mr Rameshwar Broota.
