Guillermo Torrijo

Guillermo Torrijo was born in Valencia, Spain, in 2001. He is a multimedia and digital artist. During his early years, Torrijo developed a great passion for collage and explored a rich and diverse range of mixed media techniques. In recent years, he has pursued a graphic-artistic trajectory that examines the meaning of the image, its interaction with the environment, and people's perception of it when it is manipulated. Using current digital tools, he composes impossible, exuberantly strange, and contradictory landscapes and portraits. Surreal compositions that become provocative experiences, generating impact and reflection in the viewer.

Most of his works explore what it means to be human and our relationship with our past, present, and future environment. They are presented as a series of moments or dilemmas within a single work, as if they were different stories. To achieve this, he uses different kinds of objects, symbols, and, especially, human elements. The result is a virtual photograph, that is, a digital painting endowed with a strong creative component, in which compositional skill and digital editing are combined. Everything should convey a message, and the element of surprise attracts the viewer's attention.
