Fran Duncan is a UK-based abstract artist whose work is deeply rooted in the themes of transformation, resilience, and connection to nature. Working with alcohol inks, she embraces an intuitive and symbiotic process, allowing the fluid medium to guide her rather than imposing rigid control. This method reflects her own philosophy—welcoming the unknown, finding beauty in the unpredictable, and allowing life to unfold organically. Her work is a meditation on impermanence and renewal, mirroring the shifting landscapes of both the external world and the inner self. Living with the challenges of ME and scoliosis, Duncan’s artistic journey has been one of self-discovery and acceptance, navigating both personal adversity and creative evolution.
