Chen Fengyong is an emerging contemporary sculptor from China, holding a Master's degree in Sculpture from Tsinghua University. Specializing in bronze and stainless steel, he crafts evocative figurative works that delve into the profound nature of humanity and the universe. His artistic journey began at the age of 20, driven by a deep fascination with the essence of life, the laws of existence, and the interplay between perception and reality. Stylistically, his work draws inspiration from the timeless aesthetic language of ancient Eastern sculpture. Chen thrives in the serenity of creation, where a meditative state allows him to experience tranquility and a harmonious unity with his art. This introspective joy—quiet yet enduring—permeates his figurative sculptures, which often capture moments of stillness and contemplation. From 2020 to 2021, he participated in the clay and stone carving stages of *The Great Cause*, a monumental sculpture commemorating the centenary of the Communist Party of China, as part of Tsinghua University's "21 Project" creative team. Between 2020 and 2023, he served as a visiting professor at China Women's University, teaching *Three-Dimensional Modeling Methods*. In 2023, he collaborated with Time Difference Island, a Beijing-based media company, to create installation art for the cultural program *Wandering and Singing*.
