Darren Booth

A lover of art from a young age, I copied lots of cartoons and drew my golfing heroes.

I was married at 19 and entered the corporate world late in my teens and left producing art behind but not my love of it.

More lately I've struggled with severe depression and anxiety resulting in a recent hospitalisation. As part of my recovery, I've re-dedicated myself to my drawing which has been very therapeutic. I am now confident enough to share my charcoal portraits as part of this scrutinised process.

In addition to my love of art, I have a breadth of life experience as a husband and a dad, an elite sports person and business executive.
