Contact us.Born in Barcelona, a triplet in the nineties. She learned and understood her passion for abstract art in Switzerland, where she had the privilege of growing up artistically under the tutelage of a Swiss artist.
There, surrounded by great references such as Giacometti, Klimt, Nikki de Saint Phale, Vasili Kandisnky and Jean Tingaly, she developed her "naturalist" format. Using tea, coffee and natural pigments as pictorial material.
Parallel to her studies in Fine Arts, the Barcelona-born artist decided to express herself in other non-painterly forms using her previous background as a nurse. In 2021, Judit Escayola wrote her first book of short stories entitled "La enfermera valiente" (The brave nurse). Generating a space to deal with the covid-19 pandemic from the point of view of a nurse. In addition, that same year, she directs and produces a short documentary on the effect of the pandemic on nurses in Catalonia, Spain.
Until 2023, the artist has more than one hundred paintings of her own creation. In addition to national and international exhibitions. She also writes poetry and is working on a conceptual project to benefit the AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer).
Currently, "el gorrión" lives in Switzerland. But she is closely linked to Girona, Spain.
There, she has her studio in front of the sea, where she paints.
