Madeleine Hill

Madeleine's practise considers textural division, sensory deception and object induced nostalgia. She is constantly intreagued by the vast landscape of objects that we inhabit and obscures the securities one places within them. She makes work that infers an emotional discomfort through the sculpture or paintings physcality. A memory, a recent experience, whatever it is that triggers her need for display, she listens to it and tentatively creates. Using delicacy, precision, and a humble nature.
