Mariam Qureshi

I am an Edmonton-based contemporary artist creating heavily textured oil paintings inspired by the raw power of the Canadian wilderness. Drawing from my background as an outdoor adventure instructor, I use nature as my primary muse to explore atmospheric light, open horizons, and biophilic design. My signature style relies on deliberate palette knife work and deep impasto layers to capture the fluid movement of glacial waters and alpine heights. My work is showcased in frequent solo exhibitions and held in private collections internationally.
