Manifesto of Metaphysical Expressionism
by Nedžad Duraković
I do not paint what I see.
I paint what exists between the visible.
Every line, every color, every drop of water
is a carrier of consciousness.
I do not create images – I shape vibrations
into translated reality.
When water and pigment merge,
there is no coincidence.
It is a dialogue between what wishes to be
and what is allowed to be seen.
The watercolor is a field of resonance –
a portal through which the invisible takes form.
I paint to remember:
That reality is malleable.
That every color is a frequency.
That consciousness is the true medium of creation.
Metaphysical Expressionism is not an escape from the world,
but a return to its origin.
It is the echo of the universe –
translated into water, light, and will.
