Ruxanda Lungu

Ruxanda Lungu is a scientist and visual artist based in Lisbon, Portugal. With a background in neuroscience, her artistic practice is shaped by a deep curiosity about perception, memory, and the emotional landscapes of the human experience. Her work explores the space where scientific insight meets intuitive expression.
Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, Ruxanda’s pieces are intuitive yet intentional, often inspired by color, memory, and the emotional echoes of everyday life. Her process blends structure with spontaneity, inviting viewers into layered worlds that feel both personal and universal.
