Med Kalyango

Kalyango is more than just a fine artist as he is also a filmmaker who specializes in lighting of cinematic images of "unphotographable" scenes using various sources of light. He believes that directly making studies by observing his subjects can fuel his imagination.
Born 1993 in suburbs of Kampala, Uganda. Kalyango is the son of a country surveyor who has taught himself how to draw and illustrate. He felt inspired by making several researches about illustrators.
Inevitably, Kalyango launched his career as a passionate illustrator, and this started with T-shirt designs where he developed and displayed his penchant for realistic depictions of retroactive scenery. To achieve this, Kalyango often uses digital programs like adobe and almost every life aspect for reference
Since he launched his illustration career, he has worked on several assignments with locals where he has designed numerous fine art pieces.
Kalyango is a versatile artist whose works Include illustrations, film productions, clothing designs, and more. He has participated in movie studios, workshops, meetings, and other venues. He lives and works in Uganda.
