The nautilus is a living symbol of eternity and perfect form. Its spiral shell echoes the golden ratio, the meeting point of mathematics and the poetry of nature. It embodies the silence of the ocean, holding within it the stories of millions of years.

Olya Frolova is a Ukrainian artist. She was born in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. Since 2024, she has been living in Irpin, where she works on new pieces and series. She is a member of the Society of Ukrainian Botanical Artists (SUBA) and the Association of British Botanical Artists (ABA). Her creative practice encompasses such genres as botanical painting, landscapes, animal portraits, and still life. She works in the style of realism, using media such as watercolor and graphite. Her background in natural sciences shapes her perception of the world and influences her artistic thinking — attentive, analytical, and rooted in a scientific approach. Nature is the central focus of her attention: alive, in motion, under the microscope, and in contemplation. In her work, Olya explores life as a phenomenon — fragile yet resilient, capable of growth, response, and transformation. She captures life cycles: from germination to flourishing, from flourishing to fading, seeing these stages as a unified dynamic. The artist is fascinated by the moment of change — both physical and internal — as well as by the beauty of imperfection: the marks of time, the process of withering, the imprints of the environment, which she interprets not as flaws but as signs of experience. In this boundary between the “ideal” and the “authentic,” her signature artistic gesture emerges.
