Stephanie Loo-Ng

Born and raised in Singapore.
My works explore the interplay between structure and intuition—where deliberate lines meet spontaneous strokes. Rooted in my background as a civil engineer, my work seeks to balance formal discipline with emotional expression, navigating between structural logic and intuitive freedom. Textured surfaces, created with sand medium simulating concrete, introduce a raw, tactile quality. Shifts in surface density and vibrant layers of colour
drive an ongoing exploration of the tension between control and spontaneity. Each composition becomes a negotiation between order and improvisation, resilience and transformation. These works invite reflection on the
dynamic relationship between form, texture, and emotion—held together in a state of vibrant, imperfect harmony I have actively been exhibiting in Geneva since 2006. Personal collection of my works are found in Switzerland, United Kingdom, Germany ,France and Singapore.
