I was born in 1973 in Biržai, a historic town in northern Lithuania, where I live and work as an independent artist. I studied Public Administration at a university in Vilnius and had a long career in the insurance industry. However, I always felt a deep connection to art. In 2018, I began teaching myself to paint with acrylics and was also inspired by my painting teacher in Switzerland. My main focus is abstract painting, where I create unique textures using palette knives, paint scrapers, and brushes. This allows me to build layers of texture and contrast in my work. My paintings reflect the freedom of paint, forms, and colors, while also capturing my personal experiences and emotions. To me, abstract art is something not just seen, but felt. I strive to let the creative process flow endlessly, inviting the viewer to engage their imagination and continue the artistic journey.
