RECOGNITION
Nora Alshaikh is a contemporary Palestinian US-based artist whose work serves as a visual act of preservation. Born in Amman, Jordan, to Palestinian parents, her practice explores the intersection of memory, cultural identity, and the enduring human spirit world around them and their place within it.
Recently, I've been concentrating on depicting cityscapes and landscapes. Given my penchant for travel, I also wanted to showcase some of the cities I've explored, which have influenced my artistic journey.
