I am Michael Thalmann, a pianist living in Cavaione on the edge of Switzerland, overlooking Tirano, Italy. My creative energy flows naturally into intuitive digital painting. Using Adobe Fresco on iPad, I let each piece emerge spontaneously from my subconscious, guided by the same emotional resonance and dynamic rhythm that inspire my music. My abstract digital paintings often conceal faces, eyes, or organic forms within vibrant colour fields. An improvisational visual language where each brushstroke becomes a musical note. By embracing subconscious imagery, I explore themes of intuition, memory, and emotional depth, translating improvisational ideas into colour, form, and movement. As a pianist, I’ve performed concerts across Europe, Asia, and Latin America; now, I’m relatively new to the visual art space and excited to share this evolving facet of my creative journey.
