Born in Palma, Majorca 1978

Hi, I am a London based Spanish artist. I am a painter. I use mostly oils.

My work investigates how the feeling of the collective can be transferred to the viewer. I paint Spectators scenes psychologically charged. Though form and colour I manipulate these figures into a particular emotion such as joy, euphoria, anxiety...
The concept of my work is reversing the traditional way of looking at art. In my work, the painting "stares" you back. I am inspired by Juan Muoz's installation "Towards the Corner" (Tate) and Velazquez's "Las Meninas"
