Robert Filiuta

Robert Filiuta is a New York-based artist with a passion for storytelling through his art. Born in Bucharest, Romania, and raised in Queens, NY, Robert was inspired from a young age by the street art and graffiti of the city. His love for art led him to pursue his education, and he earned his BFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Roberts BFA education has not only honed his technical skills, but also given him a deep understanding of the power of visual storytelling. His work is inspired by his cultural background, the energy of the city, and his own personal experiences.

He works primarily with acrylic paint and mixed media, and his favorite techniques include dry brush and layering to create texture and depth in his pieces. He often explores themes of solitude and self-discovery in his work, using color and texture to create an emotional connection with the viewer.

Robert had the privilege of exhibiting his work in several shows, and his art has been recognized and appreciated by audiences and industry professionals alike. His goal as an artist is to continue to grow, learn, and use his work to inspire and connect with others.
