Alpha Centaury

Andris Susilo was born in September 1982 in Jepara, a small town in the northern part of the island of Java. The child of a carpenter, the environment from childhood to adolescence is very closely related to wood processing activities, such as carving, carpentry and etc.

In 2002 he went to Yogyakarta to continue his studies. Until 2004, he decided to study art at the Indonesian Art Institute and began to be active in the arts.

From 2010 to 2018 became the most important phase for Andris Susilo. While working in an environment-based non-governmental organization that owns a company and focuses on solving environmental problems. Manufacture tools for sanitation solutions made from polyester resin and plastic.
After working for approximately 8 years, Andris has a close relationship with these 2 materials (polyester resin & plastic).

The year 2019 is the beginning to start doing research on materials, and combining them with various other materials.

2004 - 2006 : Wood Craft, Faculty of Fine Arts, Indonesian Art Institute, Yogyakarta.
