I am an emerging figurative painter working in a completely unique style I call Pixelism—a vibrant, large-scale approach that merges the traditional with the digital, creating mesmerizing works of art. At the heart of Pixelism is a distinct process. I begin with an image, breaking it down into a simplified value scale, reducing it to black and white. From there, I assign colors to different steps within that scale. The result? Paintings that, from a distance, resemble photographs but, up close, reveal intricate, multi-layered topographies of color and texture. My inspiration comes from the world around me—everything I see, feel, and experience—but two major influences stand out: comic books and fashion photography. The elegance and drama of fashion photography shape my subjects, while my bold, nostalgic color palettes are infused with the essence of ‘80s comic art and the sun-drenched hues of the ‘70s and ‘80s. They say beauty is subjective, and my work reflects what I find beautiful—people, objects, and the energy that connects them. I paint primarily on gallery-stretched canvas or wood panel, using professional-grade acrylics to craft luminous figures that radiate sensuality and strength. Each piece in my body of work is an homage to the beauty, power, and grace of the feminine form. Through my art, I explore the layered complexities of being human—what makes us shy, what gives us strength, and how vulnerability manifests. To me, that is beauty. That is art. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS My paintings have been exhibited in cities around the world, including Toronto, Miami, London, New York, San Francisco, and Dallas. I've been featured in Fuse Magazine, Spencer Magazine, named Art Business News top 40 artists, and was the recipient of a Spotlight award at Spectrum/Red Dot Miami Art Fair 2019.
