I am a Geology graduate student at Stanford University, currently aiding in the development of low-carbon geomaterials within a diverse and intelligent group of individuals guided and led by my graduate advisor. In my free time, I paint and create abstract, surreal, and portrait art works.

My art is described as abstract-colorful nuances, slowly embodying surrealism. My biggest inspiration is drawn from our universe to create imagined otherworldly dynamics, landscapes, and perspectives.

In my eyes, the reason abstract art is so beautiful is because it draws more from the subconscious. There is not necessarily any elements of reality, but can be inspired by reality. It can be beautiful to look at…or off putting even…or harsh…colorful….dark-but it’s just completely different and kinda shattering against what art is “supposed” to be. People always say a child could do that-but that is kind of the point, of having something messy or obscure, or even childish because it represents that completely free side of the mind that we are told to shut away.
