Alex Lopez

Alex, graduated in sculpture from the University of the Basque Country. After passing through different plastic schools and workshops such as the Deba school and the Basauri ceramics school, he traveled to Carrara (Italy) and worked with Itto Kuetani at the Luigi Corsanini Sculpture Laboratory. He later returned to Bilbao to work as a carpentry and carpentry teacher.

He has carried out studies with very different techniques such as: ceramics, cabinetmaking and carving, industrial electronics, etc. Handmade creations, work by work, he has worked trying to keep traditional techniques alive, using reused and ecological materials which makes the works even more beautiful and expressive.
