Inspired by fairies and folktales as well as medieval paintings and ancient artefacts. The characters from these art forms regularly travel through the work leaving footprints and images. The art is the trails they create.
Based in Canberra after having lived in the countries of four different continents throughout life. These early travels have influenced the art styles subconsciously reach from different art styles from the rich and diverse cultures. In 1990 I was invited to join the Graphic Investigation workshop run by the master artist Petr Herel. From here I completed my Bachelor of Visual Arts degree in 1996 before moving to Rome. Since then I have found the world of online galleries a useful place.
