MARIO ROSANDA ROS was born in 1966 in Pula. 1986th he finished school for art and graphic design in Pula (under the mentorship prof. Fulvio Juricic and prof. Ivan Obrovac). Upon completion of school, he working as a free-lancer designer-illustrator.
In his private studio-atelier in old Istrian village Vinkuran he make paintings, illustrations, photos, music and doing graphic design work.
EXHIBITIONS:
Since 1988 until today, he participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. Exhibited in Croatia (Pula, Zagreb, Groznjan, Rovinj, Medulin, Zupanja) and Italy (Croatian embassy in Trieste).
AWARDS:
1997 - Casa Editrice Nord, Milan-Italy - 1 place in the international competition for computer science fiction illustration.
1999 and 2000 - European Newspaper Award (newspaperdesign)-Award of Excellence for Design news centerfold (organizers: De Journalist, Amsterdam - Medium Magazine, Frankfurt / Main - Der Oesterreichische Journalist, Salzburg)
2001 - Vodnjan-Ex Tempore second place.
