Biography: Diana Schwan-Beck - DSB

Born in 1968 in Magdeburg, Germany, Diana Schwan-Beck embarked on a multifaceted journey that intertwines her passion for creativity and exploration. With a diverse background that includes two distinct apprenticeships - one in cooking and merchant marine, and the other in civil engineering technology and technical drawing - she has crafted a unique artistic narrative. Presently residing in the serene environs of Schwanebeck near Berlin, Brandenburg, her artistic evolution was profoundly shaped by her childhood experiences, during which she spent ample time in nature. Her youthful escapades into forests, fields, meadows, and rivers fueled her curiosity, prompting experimentation with various materials.

Throughout her school years, the sparks of her imaginative thinking were kindled under the guidance of a sculptor and stonemason. These influences, along with her growing fascination with drawing and composition, laid the foundation for Diana's artistic journey.
