What's up! I'm SYYPHER, a freelance Super-Flat Neon Pop artist from Melbourne, Australia. I paint childhood memories with a twist!

"What does that mean?" I hear you ask, well, it means I get to combine my absolute love for animation with the aesthetically awesome "neon" style of painting. Pretty cool, I know.

My subject matter, being majorly inspired by cartoons, comics, animated films and music allows people of all ages to reconnect (or form a connection) with their inner child.

The best bit for me is getting to see people light up and become so vivid and animated at the sight of these childhood cartoons, it goes to show how important art and expression can be. And by getting to add neon elements to these well known scenes, it allows me to further explore the characters, scenes, and storylines. The challenge is doing it all in a single, still snapshot.

Aside from the cartoons, I tend to paint my favourite movies, musicians, album covers... anything I like really. All with neon-looking elements, how cool is that?!
