This series of artworks illustrates my artistic approach focused on sustainable art and environmental commitment.
Each piece is created from recycled materials such as wood, paper, iron, or other elements destined for disposal or washed up by the seas and oceans!
I transform these materials into unique works that question the memory of objects and their potential for rebirth.
The expression of slender, harmonious forms reflects a quest for lightness, while embodying a strength rooted in the raw material.
The subtly applied golden patina adds a touch of timeless elegance and highlights the original textures of the recycled materials, while reaffirming their new life.
This series invites us to reflect on our relationship with consumption, recovery, and the hidden beauty of elements that we often consider useless.
Through art, I aspire to convey the idea that anything can be transformed into an artistic creation!"

Born in Grenoble on 24 July .... into a family of artists, Christiane Guerry is a painter and sculptor who has lived and worked in Nice since 1989.





MUSIC ...

In 1987, she moved to DIJON, then to PARIS, where she met Dominique from ART ET MISS, with whom she still exhibits!
She moved to Nice in 1989 and never left!

SCULPTURES

For the past twenty years, the artist has been creating sculptures using recycled materials, which she ennobles with subjects relating to Music, Dance, Freedom, etc.



For the artist: Art can't be explained... it has to be felt!

It's a universal means of communication, a language!





She works on "Differences", "Communities", "Battered Women", the "Church Environment"... all these Lives that she has come into contact with...
