Salo’s art is collected worldwide. His works hang in private collections in Hong Kong, USA, UK, Singapore, China, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Europe, and Canada.

His portrait paintings delve into the complexities of mood and inner turmoil, exploring the depths of feeling. The works resonate with introspection and raw expression, a visual echo of a profound inner landscape.

Steve showed a natural talent for painting at a young age, getting his first oil paints at the age of eight. Studying books about the master painters and experimenting in many mediums and across various subject matter, he is largely self taught.
