Sandy Leslie

Sandy Leslie was born in 1971 in Lisbon, Portugal, to a Portuguese mother and a Scottish father.

Her work is mainly abstract, the process very intuitive and the result colourful, expressive, emotional and contemporary. It is Sandy’s choice of colours that most draw people to her paintings, followed by the freshness and naivete of her approach. She has started dabbling in figurative art and intends to further pursue this in an abstract manner as well.

August-September 2021: "Avizinhamento" at Estoril Casino Art Gallery, Portugal. Collective.
October 2021: "Paredão_Entre_Linhas", outdoor art exhibition on sea promenade in Cascais, Portugal. Promoted by Cascais Town Hall and a À'Linha art collective project. 13 local artists, 2 artworks each.
