Tereza Zikovska

Tereza's favourite means of expression is rich and intensive colour. She likes to provoke with the themes and compositions of her paintings. Tereza Zikovska explores human emotions, feelings, and fantasies in her figurative compositions. She's interested in the spiritual transformations and the rich world of the human soul. Her favourite medium is oil on canvas. Tereza's signature style is expressionist by nature, she loves experimenting with technique and ideas and shifts her creative ways.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Tereza Zikovska is also a gallerist who strives to showcase some of the most intriguing and exquisite Bulgarian artists.

"We live in a world, shaken by collisions and disasters. We live on a planet, too small to endure the roar which overtakes it in a moment. We live at a time that has killed “yesterday” and does not predict “tomorrow”, because it has anchored us in “today”. Then the man, for ages doomed to bear his cross, is more than ever naked and alone beneath the heaven. And the universal tragedy resounds as ecstasy in his soul. Do we have to be surprised that the expressionism experiences its new revival?

And in Bulgarian art, expressionism is on the crest of the wave. One of its faces ...
