Collage Newspaper Collaboration
Since the 1980s, Borai & Kahne have worked together as an artist duo, creating joint paintings on newspaper – enriched with elements of comics, graffiti, and visual poetry. Their imagery emerges in dialogue: spontaneous, associative, and often polyphonic.
They collect, alter, and recombine fragments of information. Newspaper becomes a canvas for present, future, and possible events. Their work is about rewriting, rethinking, and recycling visual and textual meaning.
Their artistic process is both craft and conviction – a collaborative act that often feels like a spiritual experience.
