RECOGNITION
Christina Akerson is a Southern California based artist and 4th generation Asian American. Her studies began in High School when she won awards from the Monterey County Young Artist League. She continued with a photography business in New York City.
Recently, Christina has won Best in Show at the 55th Annual Sunset Beach Art Festival for 2 years in a row. She exhibits in Laguna Beach, CA and cherishes every minute of living in SoCal with her husband and kids.
She holds a BA in Music from UCLA, and a Master of Music from The Manhattan School of Music and has performed internationally and nationally with Broadway shows and Opera, appearing also on Disney, FOX, and NBC for tv and film.
