Ulster Artist and Craftsman Karl Harron, born in Belfast 1953 is transforming the Contemporary Fine Craft of glass fusing and kiln-forming in Ireland from his thriving Studio producing unique Designs and exclusive Limited Series for his growing number of local and International Collectors.
Karl was Educated at Campbell College and University of Ulster Faculty of Art and Design Belfast. Proprietor of Private GlasStudio, participating artist in Masterclasses at North Lands Creative Glass Caithness and Visiting Lecturer at Ceramics Department University of Ulster and Metals & Glass Department National College of Art and Design Dublin Ireland. Participated in 3rd Level Teachers Forum sponsored by Bullseye Glass Co. Portland Oregon USA and speaker at University of Wolverhampton Glass Dept,. England.
Member of the Glass Society of Ireland Contemporary Makers and the British Society of Master Glass Painters. Central Advisor and Art Acquisition Panelist for Arts Council of N. Ireland and Registered Professional Craftworker with The Crafts Council of Ireland. National Register of Makers Crafts Council Resource Centre London.
