Karol Jersak

Karol's abstract mixed media paintings emulate raw creativity with the use of colors, chalk paints and papers. She is educated in college for painting, drawing and sculpture. She attended Emily Carr University of Art and Design for Fine Arts. Her work is described as naive expressionism . A child like expression is created by ignoring rules of perspective, skewed content and bold colors. On canvas she layers various products combined for collage or floral paintings. The paintings can be arranged in various groupings with mixes of colors and content. Karol is influenced by travel, fashion and interior design. Her intention is to create paintings to look like the jewelry piece on the walls. Many interior designers work with Karol in Southern Ca, Newport and Northern Ca., the Bay area. Specs of palettes, scale and content are provided by the client. A mock up is provided to view prior to creating the custom paintings. The scale of paintings vary , according to each project.
