It is my desire as an artist to convey in my paintings a translation, if you will, of some subtleties in life that sometimes go unnoticed. It just thrills me to think of the infinite amounts of pattern and colour combinations yet to be discovered in my daily life and I see it as a permanent treasure hunt that I get to be on.

I am currently specialising in acrylic on stretched canvas, I combine coarse and smooth modelling pastes as a base for matte and gloss acrylic paint, adding layers and depth – using various colour combinations, patterns, and textures to translate my thoughts and feelings on sounds and imagery, thus creating abstract ‘messages’ on canvas.
 
I recognise the life-changing power art has had in my own life (encouraging and challenging me both as a person and artist) therefore I aspire to create paintings that can in turn be transformative and inspiring to those who encounter my artworks. It is my desire to evoke introspective thoughtfulness that would be a unique experience to each individual willing to explore.
