Sue Purcell

I grew up in rural Cheshire and I have lived in beautiful Mid-Wales for over half of my life. Nature's forms and colours have always been important influences on my work, though not always revealed in an obvious manner. I produce a wide range of both abstract and representational works and more recently textile installations.

I have exhibited in solo and many group shows in art centres galleries, in England and Wales. I have been an artist in residence and exhibited at the INTERNATIONAL ARTS CENTRE for WILDLIFE ART ‘Nature in Art’ gallery in Twigworth, Gloucestershire. This led onto an invitation to exhibit at a Wildlife Auction at Christie's in London where I sold "A Zebra Crossing a Zebra Crossing" picture of this artwork is on my own website along with details of other exhibitions.
