Christine Goerner

Art, interiors and travel are my passions. I love venturing into remote places to photograph what is beautiful and interesting to me. Then create photographic art from memories of how these places make me feel – often resembling dreamscapes of nature.

My work may encourage you to see something you may not have noticed before – like patterns in trees, shapes of watery reflections, the texture of landforms, the mood of an arid landscape or simply a vibrant colour palette that resonates. I invite you to see the beauty of nature through my eyes.

Art must resonate with you and make a visual and emotional connection. So, it gives me a deep sense of pride when collectors pay me the ultimate compliment by hanging a piece of my work in their home or workspace.

I am a Melbourne based Photographic Artist born and educated in Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Communication from Monash University.

I've held solo exhibitions and exhibited my work at The Other Art Fair presented by Saatchi Art in both Melbourne and Sydney, Brunswick Street Gallery, Tacit Galleries and at the Centre for Contemporary Photography in Melbourne.
