Tanya Lacey

Tanya was born in bred in London but has been living in Madrid for the last 30 years where she works as a professional photographer. she started off as a portrait and fashion photographer but happily installed in her daylight studio in downtown Madrid she has branched out into the world of photographic art. She has an eye for colour, detail, simplicity and pattern and her flair lies in her ability to combine these four elements.

She took her cameras to Exeter University where she studied Spanish and French.
Afer finishing her degree , she went straight out to Madrid where she became an assistant to a famed advertising photographer. She took off on her own in the early nineties and started working for magazines and newspapers.
