Vincenzo Vinciguerra

I was born in Palermo and I live in Sciacca.
I worked for several national publishers as an illustrator. I participated in several exhibitions including the international exhibition "First Biennial of Creativity in Verona" with Sgarbi and at Ateliers of Modena, Florence and Milan.

Also Scatto Fotografie that I then mount and paint with the computer (digital art) making them print at very high quality on canvas or a 1cm thick forex panel.

Furthermore, my works have been published in international contemporary art catalogs such as the CIDA publishing house and STM contemporary art collection.

I realize, for individuals and churches, Byzantine icons on wooden board and bologna chalk, according to the ancient canons. With egg tempera and white wine. Natural earths and precious minerals and 24K gold.

All my works are made with the ancient technique of tempera with egg yolk and white wine.
The pigments are obtained by grinding the "lands" and the "minerals" on the mortar, which are then bound with the emulsion (egg yolk and white wine).
