James Varney is an English Artist born in 1980 in Royal Leamington Spa. Today he lives and works in Devon. Through his works, characterised by their abstract presentation, he is exploring the power of art. The power of the thoughts and feelings evoked by Painting and Paintings. James Varney is a self-taught artist, who takes inspiration from great artists such as Degas, Claude Monet and Architects he has met including Richard Rogers and Mike Davies. A lover of cycling, people and traveling. For this reason his abstract paintings are the result of a translation of emotions, perception, the subconscious and reaction.
