Nata Valter

My name is Nata Valter. I'm a self - taught artist.
I was born in Russia, and I in a small town in the middle of Siberia.
Since my early childhood I was drawn to painting, sculpting and experimenting with various shapes and materials, creating forms and images.
I dreamed of becoming an artist or a sculptor, but, as it often happens, I grew up and became a lawyer.
But art has never left my life, it has been my sacret place, the calling of my soul.
It could have stayed that way, but one day the tragedy happened.
I was diagnosed with an invasive tumour in my brain and started my battle against the desease. I came out of it fragile, lost the vision in one eye completely, but I found the new me.
Art was my therapy, and my universe during that long year.
I am forever grateful to the universe which had different plans for me, and despite the painful path I had to take to get here, it led me to embracing my calling and my talent.
I now live in a Bulgaria and do what I have dreamed of as a little girl.
I am an artist.
