1973,Bville Vancouver Karen Colville Abstract & contemporary artist painting and drawing professionally for over ten years.She studied OCAD and is Independent as self taught and has workshopped mentoring with established Artists.Her art work is characterized by vibrant colors and rich, bold and soft ambient to relax to luminous shimmering reflecting light. Karen is an accomplished travelled international artist.She is passionate about art and her paintings are diverse as her experiences, located in Vancouver Canada and an international artist-in-residence her collection of art. Her art work is collected nationally and on an international basis hangs in private collections across the country.Karen is a diverse painter with a distinct style her work ranging from modern contemporary abstract and a unique style of magical realism, intuitive abstractions in watercolour acrylic and mixed media she recently added iridescent and metalic medium to her paintings.
