Dane Marinkovic

I am a UK based artist working in paint (oil, acrylic and spray paint) and Photography on a range of themes around pop culture. My preoccupation with pop culture began in the 1980s. As a child, I was captivated by the cool, the superficial, the throwaway culture of the time. Today my work pays homage to the transient and fashionable. Although short lived and ever evolving, fashion, movies and trends capture a moment, a feeling and a sense of hope and excitement. My work reflects my passion for consumer culture and the transient immortalised in print.
