Light and longing are the topic and aesthetic focus of my work.
I am mainly inspired by the sparkling light of sand grains. I think the origins of my work come from the trends of medieval art that emphasized light through gold and stained glass.

I want to be an artist who spreads hope that our contemporary lives are dazzling through the work of discovering the light that already exists within us but has not been revealed.

Artist Vian Lee majored in costume design in college.
I have been working on drawing inspiration from the textures found in fabric and expressing them on canvas as pure art.
