Ashley James Hammond

Ashley is a contemporary expressionist painter. Born just outside of London in the early 80s his art focuses on shape and colour. He is inspired by natural sciences and the beauty of raw materials.

In his latest series, Ashley uses simple shapes, colours and materials to express deep philosophical metaphors. The pieces are visually and emotionally striking, evoking different feelings from each viewer who attach their own experience of love or life to the work.

Ashley studied at University of The Arts London.
