Artist Manifesto: Defying the Trends of Modern Art

Introduction
I was born in 1977 in Suceava, Romania, into a world defined by contrasts: the quiet, timeless landscapes of Bucovina and the shifting tides of a country on the verge of transformation. My artistic journey has been unconventional. I am self-taught, with no formal training in painting, yet my love for creating has been shaped by a diverse array of experiences. A former math Olympian, a trained violinist in early childhood, and a lifelong athlete who thrives in extreme sports and endurance challenges, I have cultivated a mindset of discipline, creativity, and resilience.

For the past two decades, I have worked in a multinational environment, navigating the complexities of a corporate world while dreaming of a way to escape its constraints through art. My paintings are a reflection of my personal values and an outright rejection of the direction modern art has taken in recent years.
