Michaela Pospisilovakralova

Michaela Pospíšilová Králová is a freelance graphic designer, illustrator, and photographer. Born in Prague in 1982.

Michaela expresses herself through a wide range of artistic styles; reveling in the possibilities that the blending of painting, drawing, printing, graphic design, typography, and photography open up.
Following her own creative path, rather than passing trends, her work takes its inspiration from the personal and political themes that surround her and resonate within.

With a deep passion for photography, Michaela enjoys adapting and reinterpreting photographs through an amalgamation of collage, drawing, painting, and embroidering.

In 2012, Michaela was awarded the ‘Special Prize of the Leica Gallery Prague’ (as part of its Frame competition).
Named as one of the ‘10 Must-Know Contemporary Czech Artists’ by magazine in 2015, Michaela is proud to be part of the HateFree culture project since 2015.

Michaela lives in Prague.

Michaela’s work has been presented across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland. As well as headlining various gallery exhibitions, she also enjoys presenting her work anonymously in public spaces.
